You Won’t Believe How Flirty Prince William’s Nickname from Kate Middleton Is

Image
When it comes to any stage of a relationship, many couples give each other sweet nicknames. Some prefer more common terms of endearment like “babe,” “sweetheart” or “honey,” while others have more intimate nicknames that may sound odd when heard out of context. Especially when you’re a royal couple. This couldn’t be more true than when we heard Kate Middleton’s nickname for Prince William while they were attending university. Married for more than a decade, with three children, the royal pair have had plenty of fun and adorable nicknames for each other over the years, but this cheeky nickname really stood out. What is Prince William’s nickname? According to reporting by the Mirror , the nickname Kate Middleton gave Prince William in university was “Big Willy.” Clever, right? “Big Willy” is a rare allusion to the royal couple’s affection and a borderline cringe reminder of the couple’s college days. And it definitely isn’t the biggest royal family scandal . However, we think the

I Tried Doe Magnetic Lashes—And I’ll Never Touch Traditional Falsies Again

I’m a sucker for trying new beauty products ( Amazon’s best selling mascara or miracle makeup sponges , anyone?). But the truth is, I’m about as low maintenance as it comes for everyday beauty routines. Maybe it’s because I’m pretty average at applying makeup or simply can’t be bothered with a long beauty routine—probably a combination of the two. So, when it comes to something I consider to be a more advanced addition to a standard beauty routine, like false lashes, I steer clear. That’s not to say I’ve never tried them. The siren song of long, fluttery lashes that make wearers look more awake and bright-eyed without having to apply (and remove) mascara was just too hard to ignore. I had traditional glue-on lashes applied twice, each time by a professional makeup artist when I was part of a bridal party. I found them to be both heavy and uncomfortable. I even looked into lash extensions only to learn they require significant financial commitment and time I wasn’t willing to make. T

What Is a Digital Nomad Visa—and 10 Exotic Places You Can Work With One

Image
I’m writing this article in my pajamas with my legs tucked under the covers, a cup of coffee by my side. I haven’t been in an actual office in years. Apparently, I’m not the only one. The pandemic made remote work mainstream: According to a June 2022 report from McKinsey and Company, 58% of Americans have the opportunity to work remotely at least once a week, and 35% can work from home five days a week. Unsurprisingly, some countries around the world are trying to capitalize on this shift by offering a digital nomad visa to remote workers. Call it a pandemic silver lining , or just good luck. Either way, it’s an opportunity for remote workers to get the job done while exploring far-flung locales. Sound right up your alley? The pandemic isn’t over , so remote work is still the name of the game—and may even be here to stay. Make sure you understand these work-from-home tips (focus is key), and then read on to learn everything you need to know about getting a digital nomad visa. If you’

Will Robots Take Your Job? How Artificial Intelligence Will Change the Future of Work

Image
When most people think of artificial intelligence (AI), they think of smarty-pants robots that can service our every whim. While real robots may be in the cards, the future of AI will also revolutionize the way we work (in real life and in the metaverse). In fact, AI is already in your workplace: You use AI when you use Google Maps to find your way to an off-site meeting (perhaps in a self-driving car ?), or when you use spell-check for a report. The current state of AI and the future of AI goes far beyond simplifying mundane tasks, however. Artificial intelligence, or computers that are taught to “think” like humans, can make us healthier, less stressed and happier through advancements in medicine, manufacturing and more. It’s not without its downsides, though. So let’s take a look at what the future of AI holds for the workplace, including some drawbacks and benefits you might see in your lifetime. Examples of AI in the workplace today Artificial intelligence is all around you. A

Underseat luggage is even smaller than a carry-on, designed to fit directly under the seat as opposed to in the overhead bin. If you’re looking for more than one piece of baggage, consider investing in a luggage set, which offers smart value as well as a wide variety of styles, colors and materials. Mean

How Robots Could Change the Future

Image
Look to your favorite sci-fi movie and you’ll get a good sense of how Hollywood sees robots of the future: Most communicate with us. Some even look like us. But the future of robots doesn’t just lie in more lifelike, human and helpful drones, droids and automatons, which we’ll increasingly encounter at every turn. It also lies in smaller, smarter and more self-aware high-tech helpers that will aid and assist with nearly every facet of everyday life. Alone, robots designed for industrial purposes are projected to be a $35.68 billion market by 2029, per Fortune Business Insights. The market for medical robots is anticipated to trail closely behind. And other areas of robotics, such as self-driving delivery robots, aerospace robotics and hospitality robots, are poised to be billion-dollar sectors. Like the metaverse (essentially a digital world), real robots will play a bigger role in our lives in the coming years, thanks to continuing advancements in robotics. Likewise, they’ll also c
